YAY!! New page up! sorry, this one took so long to get up! it required much more effort then most of the pages... for several reasons actually!
1) i had no thumbnail sketch for this page so i only kind-of knew what was going on here! i gotta draw more page layouts so i know exactly whats going to happen next to avoid more problems like this!
2) even after i sketched this out, panel four (the one featured in the thumbnail above) was completly non-existant! it was made at the last second after everything else was done, and i think it came out super well! one of the best panels ever! maybe! haha!
3) and finally... there was shading!! and pretty glowy things! i normally avoid these sort of things because of the massive amout of effort and time it takes to make it look nice. i think it came out ok here, but don't expect to see this sort of thing too often!!! even though i love that it looks much better, it takes too long! maybe in the future.... if i ever get printed, there will definatly be some sort of shading and highlighting going on! for sure!!
hmm... i had more stuff to say, but i can't remeber now because my train of thought was interupted by someone...
i'm going on a picnic (yatta!) on monday so the next page may not be ready until tuesday.... i should change my updateing scheduale from mon/fri to tues/sat!! nah... i'd probly still be late! haha!
oh yeah! now i remeber what i was gonna say, but now it seems so out of place! i was just gonna mention that i'd been working on character designs (for upcoming characters) and a new way of coloring. i'll post a teaser pic for you... the coloring might only look like this on special occasions (like the intro to a new character!)
They won't be drawn this chibi in the comic (much...)

just wanted to let you guys know that the comic isn't quite ready yet. i dunno if it'll be up today. if it is, it'll be late. better to check back sometime tommorrow (maybe afternoon would be best?). just thought it best to let you know...

well... i managed to update the page on time. how about that. i rather like this particular page, even though there is no dialouge! my sis says it looks more cartoony then usual, but i like it! this is also the first page i've drawn completly on the computer!! i decided to give it a try. the last time i did it, my lines were way too shaky, but i think it came out pretty well this time! i may just keep doing it this way, i'm not sure yet. what do you guys think??
just thought i'd mention some of the great movies i've seen in the past... week and a half? well... i saw "Down With Love" two fridays ago! i thought that was great! not quite what i expected, but it was faboulous! and i loved the twists at the ending! i didn't see those coming! i rate it a 4.5/5 monkeys!
then on the following tuesday i went and saw the new "Matrix" movie. I must say it was pretty good. although i think my opionion on this one is a little hard to determine bcuz i believe it was tainted by terrible reviews (mostly on plot), so i can't determine if the plot was bad or not, bcuz i liked it but my head keeps saying it was dumb. it definatly didn't make you think nearly as much as the first one which was a relief and a letdown at the same time. but the action was so incredibly amazingly fantabulous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 6/5 monkeys just for the action!! worth seeing if only for that!!
and on the friday that just happened i went and (FINALLY) saw "X-Men 2"! i had gotten a ... coupon? ... to get $12.00 off my admission price to either daredevil or x2 and i forgot to use it when i saw daredevil (not bad, not great. better to rent it then see it in theaters) so i used it for x2. the last day to use it was on that friday, so thats why i went then! so i got to see a great movie for FREE!! yay for me! and it was also amazingly great! a definate 5/5 monkeys!! i still can't decide if i like it better then the first.... i think i do... but then i rememberd how great the first one was.... so i dunno... but nightcrawler is soooooo my favourite now! wolverines great and all, but nightcrawler is just sooo much better! there are too many indescribable reasons (which really aren't that indescrible... just require much effort and thought to write them all down!) why he's so awesome! he just is! and i really love his accent! and the teleporting!! and the fact he's blue! and the sybols all over his body! and -- must stop now!! very very very good movie! go see now! even if you've already seen it, see it again!!
wow... i've seen quite a few good movies in the past week and a half! it's about time too! i saw WAY too many just ok movies in the past 4 months!! and now i gotta see "Bruce Almighty"!! but i'm so poor now!! (no wonder!!).... i need a job... now...

i'm sorry everyone! i know i promised i'd be all on scheduale now, but i'm having troubles drawing. i think my style has descended into crap! it's very frustrating! the reason i've never drawn Elverion before is because I can't draw it in the style i really want to do it in (it's suposed to look a lot pretty like proffesional manga), but i want to draw it now anyways, so i am! but the problem is that my style keeps getting comprimesed by the pictures in my head, so it's hard to keep it from looking muddled! (>_<) so i think i need to spend some time and develop a proper style thats easy and quick to do but don't look to crappy for my comic! i don't want to take time off from giving you guys pages, so i'll try to keep doing that while figuring out my new style. i'm also not sure if i want to keep doing the pages in such a clean cut and colored format. it may be too much effort now.... so i may be experienceing with that too... perhaps getting much more sketchy, or just pencils... i dunno yet. we'll see what happens over the next few weeks....
i also want to appologize for just sort of dissapearing... i hate it when my favourite webcomic artists do that (disapear without a trace... never knowing when, if ever, the comic will come back...) so this is probly frustrating for you guys too! i especially shouldn't do that since the comic is new! i'll try to at least post to say whats going on if it ever happens again! so sorry!
now to be realistic, with the whole style changing thing going on, i'm not sure if i'll actually end up updating on monday and friday... i'll try hard for that but we'll see what happens...

sorry it's late. i'm not in the mood to rant, so maybe later, but i thought yesterday was thursday until our dinner guests for friday showed up because it was friday, so then i finished the page after they left but i fell asleep before i could post it, so i'm posting it now. very sorry about that.

sorry to do this to you guys, but there just isn't going to be a comic today. i'm really sorry about this, but it just isn't going to happen. stuff kept coming up over the weekend and i couldn't do it today because i slept for 15hours for some unknown reason! so instead of rushing the comic i'm just going to skip it until friday. i'll try and make it up to you guys somehow, but it just isn't going to happen today. so check back on friday because there will be a new page! promise! and i am going to keep updateing, most likely on time! the comic is NOT going to fade out into obscurity like all my comics have done before! this one i planned out and it's going to happen! ... just not today...
on a side note, i found out that 'Angel' (the WB spin-off from 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer') IS getting renewed so there WILL be a 5th season! YAY!! i like that show, and i'm all sad that buffy is ending! i hope its really good! AND 'Lois and Clark: The Adventures of Superman' is FINALLY being rerunned on tbs superstation, weekdays at 8 AND 9 am (eastern time)! i loved that show! but i never had any of them on tape so i couldn't go back and watch them! -sob sob- but now its back, and i heard a rumor that it'll eventually come out on dvd! speaking of dvds, i just bought the 'Newsies' the other day, i love that movie! and i love christian bale! he's so awesome! and hot! and my parents bought 'A Midsummer Nights Dream' today out of nowhere, and that has christian bale too! (^_^)
i saw the ballet on friday. overall, it wasn't bad. i didn't like the first two parts, they weren't very impressive to me, but the third part was great! it was funny, the costumes were awesome, and the backgrounds were amazing! it was worth it just to see the third part! they did 3 parts from 3 different dances, and the one i liked was from 'slaughter on 10th street'. it was very funny! i loved it!
hmm... i seem to have chatted quite a bit today. but i guess that'll be all for now...

wow. i know i've been really late with the comic the past week or so, and i'm sorry bout that, but i'm still getting it done, and the it's still technically friday, so it's not that late! . . . it's strange, i'm finally finished school so i should be way ahead of the game, but i'm late all the time now! isn't that weird? i think i'm getting more and more easily distracted! haha! like yesterday, i was getting some pictured developed, and while i was waiting i wandered into music world and i told myself "you are NOT buying anything! nothing!" and less then a minute later i found a movie i wanted on sale! i have such little self control! (>_<) and then i bought 2 more movies when i wandered into hmv!! (;;>_<;;) but i really really really wanted the two from hmv (newsies [woohoo!!] and a knights tale!) and i really like bedazzled and it was only $8.99! practically nothing for a dvd! what can i say! i'm a shopaholic with a movie addiction! what can i say, i love movies! they inspire me to draw! i'm talking too much about nothing! must work on next page! monday come soon!....
OH! and just as a side note, i say a movie called "Bend It Like Beckham" yesterday with some friends, and i thought it was going to be nothing more then a waste of my money and time, but it turned out to be really good! i was completly impressed! and the more i think about it, the more i like it! it was great! it really was! 5 stars! three thumbs up! everyone should go see it! and i hate to say it, because it might turn some people away (but it shouldn't!), but this is a movie the whole family should see! well.. maybe not if you've got small kids, but its not bad or anything! i dunno how to rate movies for people, and i'm rambling again, but it was really great!

new page up. i got a little carried away coloring the sword in one frame, but eh, what'cha gonna do? i'll put up more info about our warriors later. i don't want to tell you too much about them too soon!

ok, just letting you guys know that the page is almost ready. i just need to do backgrounds and add words. but since i'm all with the sleepy, i'm gonna do it in the morning... or rather in the afternoon bcuz thats when i get up! so look for a new page sometime in the mid-late afternoon.
and just as a side note, it's my puppys birthday today! yay!! he turns 3 today!

Ok. Ok. i KNOW the page is super late! and i'm really sorry about that! but i was having trouble drawing the guys uniform! but it's all sorted out now, so it's up and ready to go! mondays page might be a bit late too, but it'll probly still go up sometime on monday, just maybe not at midnight!
just so you know, he's not wearing his entire armour, it'll be explained later on in the comic (like 20 pages or something from now! >_<) but i thought i'd just give you guys th heads up in case you couldn't figure it out yourselves, bcuz it's kinda hard to tell!
well... i finally finished school! YAY! no more for me! not for a loooooong time! so now i gotta look for a job so that i can have some money to buy pretty things with! i wanna work at blockbuster since i watch a lot of movies (mostly while i'm drawing), so lets hope they give me a job! i should've applied months ago, instead of a few days ago! silly me! (>_<) but that's fine. i'll get a job sooner or later! anyways, my brains all tired which is why i'm rambling on about nothing! haha!
tell everyone about Elverion! let's spread the word and get people reading about my comic!
